Count Me in for a Fabulous 2023

2023 is the 50th year of my life. Yes, I will be turning 50 this year, and I intend to make it FABULOUS! It is a tradition of mine that each time I hit a decade milestone, I invest in self-improvement, and this year will be no exception. I started working my FABULOUS FIFTY plan about 18-months ago as I had identified a number of key areas upon which I wanted to improve. These included making a major career transition, getting into shape, and growing my knowledge in areas I care deeply about such as a powerful coaching technique, Inner Team Dialogue, learning more about Conscious Business behaviors and mindsets, and digging deeper into spiritual wellness through a 2-year Spiritual Direction Program. When I compare how I was feeling a year ago this week to today, I am in awe of how much change one can make when you put your mind to it.

What do you want to change in 2023? What often surprises people is the following:

By definition, the act of making a change, requires us to leave something behind.

As exciting as a change can be, we also have to hold space for us to grieve that which we are leaving behind. After all, there is a reason that we say, “Change is hard.” This time last year, I was deep in the grief process as I prepared to leave my firm where both my colleagues and clients felt more like family that work associates. I wrote more about the leap of faith I took in my first blog post. Now a year later, as I look back at that transition, I see it as an inflection point in which I stepped into my inspired future. I would call 2022 the year of transformation. For 2023, I have set an intention to make it the Year of Fabulous.

What is your intention for 2023?

Please reach out if there is anything I can do help you in your change journey.
